Abstrak

Tuban is an area that has many traces of history, the traces of the City of Tuban from time to time can be seen from the traces of its heritage. The relics of Tuban from time to time have made the city of Tuban has many cultural heritages, ranging from caves left by ancient humans, tombs of propagators of Islam, and harbors as evidence of the colonial period that once had activities in Tuban. The history that is attached to each cultural heritage then influences many aspects, namely economic, social, cultural, educational, tourism, or can also strengthen Tuban's identity. Seeing that at this time awareness of historical aspects is starting to fade, people's awareness of the maintenance and care of cultural heritage is also starting to disappear. Looking at these problems, how exactly is the function of cultural heritage towards these aspects. To find out this, researchers used historical research methods using a literature review approach, the data obtained from various sources of literature derived from books, journals, articles, documents, magazines and other library sources. So that the outline can be obtained, namely cultural heritage with historical aspects attached where this also affects aspects of education, tourism, culture, economy, social and even religion in the city of Tuban. The role of cultural heritage in the educational aspect can be seen from the function of cultural heritage as a source of learning, cultural heritage in helping the economic aspects of society and enriching cultural aspects in the City of Tuban.
